Sally Ann Buckley, 82, of Plymouth, MA died peacefully Thursday morning (June 8th, 2023) at Benchmark Senior Living at Plymouth Crossings. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Dennis Buckley who died in 1981.

Sally was born in Plymouth MA, the daughter of the late Frank Alsheimer and the late Betty (Gillespie) Alsheimer. She attended Sacred Heart in Kingston, MA, and was a graduate of Stonehill College, Class of 1962.

Sally was employed as a Title One Reading teacher at the Governor John Carver School and retired in 2003 after teaching for 25 years.

Sally grew up in Plymouth before moving to Stoughton where she raised her 3 children and then moved back to Plymouth in 1978. Sally loved playing cards with her friends, reading books, going to the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sally enjoyed camping at Maple Park where she had a seasonal campsite for many years. Sally also enjoyed traveling to Disney World with her daughter Suzanne and granddaughter Ashley. Later in life, she enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles and ladies lunches with her friends at Casa Bella. But her favorite pastime was spending time attending her granddaughter's cheer competitions and her grandkid's many sporting events.

Sally is survived by her 3 children: Christopher Buckley and his Partner Kerri Machado of Swanzey, NH, Stephen Buckley and his wife Heidi of Milford, MA, Suzanne Hale and her husband Jim of Plymouth, MA; her grandchildren: Ashley Hale, Allison Buckley, Seamus Buckley, Joseph Buckley & Jack Buckley. Sally was also the sister of Frank Alsheimer and his wife Jan.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12th from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be at St. Peter's at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 13th. Interment will immediately follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
