Sally Marie Hernandez passed away peacefully at home on October 2nd, 2021 at the young age of 52.

Sally was born in Boston, MA on September 19th, 1969 to World War II Army Veteran Saul Hernandez and his wife Lydia Ruiz Hernandez. She grew up in Boston and spent a brief period of her childhood in Puerto Rico before coming back to Massachusetts. She spent her teenage years in Carver and Plymouth where she attended high school.

She was a beloved daughter and sister as well as a devoted mother and grandmother. She had a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant where she selflessly helped others. She had a heart of gold. Through many trials and tribulations in her life she was a true survivor.

Sally had many hobbies but above all enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. Her grandkids, whom she spent a lot of time with, brought her so much joy. She was also a devoted dog mom to her puppy, Noah.

Sally is survived by her mother Lydia Ruiz Hernandez of Plymouth, her siblings Edgardo Hernandez of Marshfield, Saul Hernandez of Marshfield, Willliam Hernandez of Plymouth, and Jeanette Coakley of Marshfield. She is also survived by her beloved children Angelina Sena of Marshfield and Julio Sena of Plymouth, her beloved grandchildren Jayden Sena, Aleigha Sena, Mason Sena, and Bentley Sena, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their children. She was predeceased by her late father Saul Hernandez and her late brother David Hernandez.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11th from 5-7 pm. A funeral mass will be at St. Mary's Church on Tuesday, October 12th at 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
