Sandra L. Ferreira of Duxbury passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on January 12, 1940 to Muriel (Ripley) and James A. McLellan in Hanson.

She leaves behind her beloved husband John T. Ferreira and the two of them were lucky enough to celebrate their 55 th anniversary this past Valentine's Day.

Sandra held several positions throughout her life, most notably as an independent Shaklee distributor. Prior, she worked as a church secretary and at Ocean Spray Cranberry.

Sandra loved the warmth of the sun and along with her morning walks on Duxbury Beach, Anna Maria Island, FL was her favorite place.

She is survived by her children James Beaton and his wife Carol, William Beaton and his wife Susan, Jeffrey Beaton and his wife Angelique, Muriel Pittsley, Michael Ferreira and his wife Mary, Kathy Ferreira, Bruce Ferreira and his wife Rebecca, and predeceased by her daughter Lori Hamilton, and her sister Norma Pittsley. Sandra also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

A burial ceremony for family & friends will take place at Duxbury's Mayflower Cemetery on March 31, 2026 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sandi's memory may be made to Sandi's church and Cranberry Hospice.
