Sharon R. Greenleaf (née Randell), 65, died peacefully at BID-Plymouth with her children by her side on March 31st, 2025.
Sharon was born in Boston, MA. The eldest of 5 children to her parents Bernice Randell (née Veasley) who preceded her in death on February 7th, 2025, and Wilson Randell of Norman Park, GA. Sharon spent her early years in Boston, graduating from Boston Tech High School. Sharon followed her family to the South Shore living in Plymouth before settling in Kingston to raise her children Russell, of Plymouth, MA, Randall of Philadelphia,
PA and Nykol of New Bedford, MA
Sharon continued her education at Bridgewater State, aspiring to pursue a law degree earning a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in political science. Along with continuing her education Sharon enjoyed singing, performing at college events and local amateur hours. She enjoyed sewing and cooking for family making clothing for her children and preparing her popular lasagna and potato salad. Sharon was her happiest with family, always excited for the next birthday party, family cookout or reunion. She loved visits and calls from loved ones including her cousins and their children who called her Auntie Sharon. She will be remembered fondly for her beautiful smile and loving heart.
Sharon joins her brother Bryan K. Randell (d. 2004) in passing and is survived by her brothers Dwayne (wife Melissa) of Sarasota FL, Kenneth of Plymouth, MA and Robert (wife Claudette) of Manchester, NH. She also leaves behind a niece Alicia and her 3 children of Fort Smith Arkansas and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and former caretakers.
Sharon will be laid to rest at Vine Hills Cemetery following a service at Bartlett Funeral Home in Plymouth, MA on April 11th 11am. Guests are welcome to join the family in repass at Garibaldi Club in Plymouth until 3:30pm.
