Shirley Kerr Freehauf, 88, died peacefully at her home in Osterville, MA on January 23, 2025.

Shirley was born in Albany, NY. She was raised in nearby Maplewood, where she was a long-standing member of Saint Basil's Church, and graduated from Watervliet High School. She would become a department head at Albany Memorial Hospital, where she ran the EKG/EEG Department until her retirement in 1990. Shirley and her husband Paul relocated to Cape Cod in 1993.

Shirley enjoyed many hobbies and activities. She was a world-traveler; an avid reader; she loved to bake for family and friends; was a member of the Uncle Sam Ski Club and loved ice skating. She also enjoyed gardening and was an avid walker. Shirley also spent several years volunteering at Cape Cod Hospital.

Shirley was an adoring wife, mother and grandmother, who was always helpful, thoughtful and loving. She is survived by her husband of 66 years Paul Freehauf Sr; her son Paul Freehauf Jr., his wife, Carole Freehauf, all of Cape Cod, and her grandson Dylan Freehauf of Providence, RI.
