Stephen “Stevie” Holmes, Jr, 54, of Plymouth, passed away at home on June 1, 2026, following complications of heart and lung disease. He was born in Wareham on May 9, 1972, and was the son of the late Stephen Holmes and Diane (Cleary) Holmes.

Stevie graduated from Plymouth South High School where he studied the electrical trade. After high school, he worked alongside his father as an electrician for many years.

Stevie had many hobbies throughout his life. He was a music lover, he enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, cornhole, playing in the local pool league, and spending nights having a campfire with friends and family. Later in life, he enjoyed collecting coins with his best friend.

Above all, Stevie‘s friends and family meant everything to him, especially his cousin, Stephanie. Stevie leaves behind his sister, Denielle Holmes of Plymouth, who he loved dearly, and his dog Brady. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and close neighborhood friends.

A graveside service will take place on June 19 at 11 AM at the South Pond Cemetery in Plymouth, followed by a celebration of life at the Plymouth VFW.
