Kearney,Stephen Paul, 56, of Duxbury MA, passed away on Wednesday, October 24th. Stephen was born October 30, 1961, the son of Joseph M. Kearney and Mary Wallace Kearney. He is survived by his wife Janis, and his three sons Lieutenant, USCG John J. Kearney & his wife Sydney & amazing grand-daughter Avery, Captain, USAF Stephen W. Kearney and Joseph Matthew Kearney. Steve is also survived by his brother Joseph Matthew Kearney, Jr., and his sisters Marianne Kearney-Brown, and Karen Kearney Hipwell. Steve grew up in Hyde Park. He graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1984 and Suffolk Law School (J.D. '89, L.L.M. '10) Steve enjoyed attending his boys' football and lacrosse games, high school concerts, and Boy Scout camping trips. He loved to cook and enjoyed family vacations to the Cape. He was an avid gear head, and loved riding and working on his motorcycles and cars. He loved being a grandfather. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 10:00 am at Holy Family Church, Duxbury MA.
