Suzanne Leah Ferreira

8/21/1946-10/6/2025

Suzanne Leah (Stefani) Ferreira, a beloved lifelong resident of Plymouth, passed away at her home on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 79. Her passing followed a courageous battle with a lengthy illness. Suzanne was the devoted wife of the late William Teves Ferreira and a cherished daughter of the late George and Marie Eleanor (Brewer) Stefani.

Born and raised in the close-knit community of Plymouth on August 21, 1946, Suzanne embodied the spirit of dedication and hard work. Behind the scenes, she was the indispensable force running her husband's successful business, Ferreira Carpentry, and her brother's thriving venture, Stefani Plumbing. Her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment ensured the smooth operation of both enterprises, a testament to her quiet strength and capable nature.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Suzanne found immense joy in her personal life. She treasured every moment spent with her loving family and dear friends, creating a home filled with warmth and laughter. An accomplished cook, she delighted in preparing delicious meals, often sharing her culinary talents with those she held dear. Her creative spirit also shone through her passions for crafting and sewing, where she meticulously brought her artistic visions to life. For many years, Suzanne dedicated her time and energy as a Girl Scout leader, mentoring countless young girls and instilling in them values of leadership, community, and personal growth.

Suzanne's memory will be forever cherished by her two devoted daughters: Melanie Snyder and her husband Eric of Plymouth, and Susan DeFelice and her husband Steven of Plymouth. She was the proud Nonni of three grandchildren: Nicholas and Marc DeFelice, and Ellie Snyder, who brought immense joy and light into her life. Suzanne was also a loving sister to Thomas Stefani of Plymouth and George Stefani and his wife Becky of New York. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Clark, and her late husband Richard of Florida, with whom she shared many fond memories.

A private celebration of Suzanne's life will be held at a later date.
