Ardizzoni, Theresa, 101, of Plymouth, passed away, peacefully at the Newfield House on Monday, December 1, 2013. She was born and raised in Plymouth, the daughter of the late Caesar and Ermelinda (Alberghini) Ardizzoni. Theresa was a lifelong resident of Plymouth. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. She worked for many years at Barnes Worsted in Kingston, retiring in 1967. She also worked at Puritan Mills, Mabitts and Gambini Restaurant. She was a member of St. Mary Guild, a former member of Legion of Mary, Treasurer of Sons of Italy #1448 from 1958-1992, and secretary for 25 years for the Vittoria Colonna Society. Theresa is survived by her god daughter Laura Santangelo, as well as many cousins and her loving, extended family at Newfield House. She was preceded in death by her brother Horace "Joe" Ardizzoni and her sisters Doris and Olga Ardizzoni. Funeral arrangements will be made by the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 10:30-11:30 am. A funeral mass will immediately follow at St. Mary's church at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at St. Joseph's cemetery, Plymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
