Theresa "Terry" Smith (Donovan), age 69, died peacefully at home after a short Illness, on November 9, 2014. She was born in Somerville, MA on October 2, 1945 to Patrick and Mary (Burns) Donovan. She graduated from St. Clements High School in Somerville. Terry worked for 33 years in the Plymouth School System, with the last 24 years being in the Athletic Department. She touched the lives of those she met with kindness and grace. Beloved wife of the late Richard "Smitty" Smith. Devoted mother of Gail Kimball and her husband, John, of Fairfield Township, OH; Frank Smith of Kingston, MA; Gary Smith and his wife, Silvia, of Plymouth, MA and Kristen Norton and her husband, Robert, of Lutz, FL. Loving grandmother of seven grandchildren: Cara, Jared, Eric, Nia, Patrick, Erin and Bailey and one great-granddaughter, Kiley. Dear sister of Jeremiah Donovan, Laconia NH; Patsy Cullen Middleboro, MA; Robert Donovan, Sandwich MA; Sheila Belliveau, Acton, MA; and Frances Gerrior of Plum Island, MA. Visiting hours will be held at the Bartlett Funeral Home 338 Court St Plymouth, Wednesday 11/12 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning 11/13 at 10 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Church, 808 State Road, Plymouth, MA with interment to follow at Plymouth County Cemetery, South Meadow Road, Plymouth, MA. She was preceded in death by James Donovan of VA and William Donovan of MA.
