Obituary

Dearn, Thomas W., 74, of Plymouth, died peacefully at home with his wife Jayne at his side, October 11, 2021. Born in Brockton on October 4, 1947 to the late William and Evelyn (Roberts) Dearn.

Tommy's family moved to Plymouth, where he graduated from Plymouth-Carver High School. He served in the National Guard and then worked for Commonwealth Electric until he retired in 1999. He enjoyed golfing and going on his hunting trips to Maine and became a "noted moose hunter" according to his father-in-law. Tommy loved the catering business. He and his wife, along with his loyal crew did a weekly dinner at the American Legion, as well as weddings, birthday parties, etc, not to forget his famous clam boils. He looked forward to his annual trips to St. Maarten with Jayne and his wonderful group of Plymouth friends, and his trips to California to visit his family; especially his 2 beloved grandchildren, Lyla Jayne and Louie Otto and his grand-dog, "Honey." They light up his life!!

Tommy is survived by his wife, Jayne (Scagliarini) of 47 years, his son, Jeffrey Keller and his wife, Nicole and their children, Lyla and Louie, as well as his daughter, Amy Keller, all of California. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, John L. Scagliarini, who was more than a brother-in-law to him. He is also survived by his son, William Dearn as well as his grandchildren; Alex Dearn and Kyle Garrett as well as his great granddaughter, Maryln Cristani. He also leaves behind his sister, Patricia Cavicchi and his niece, Tammy Rossi. He was preceded in death by his sisters; Shirley Dearn and Geraldine Vernazzaro as well as his nephew, Todd Rossi.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Services will be held at a later date.
