It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph Santillo, 77 years old of Plymouth, Massachusetts, on May 12, 2025. Tom was born on September 25, 1947 in Bernardsville, New Jersey. He attended Saint Elizabeth School and then Delbarton Academy, both in New Jersey, before graduating from the University of Dayton.

Tom loved sports and gardening, as well as cooking. As a young boy, he played baseball and football and was quite an accomplished pitcher during his years at Delbarton. Later in life he took up golf, a game that he got to be good at. He also had a passion for gardening, where he spent hours daily.

He had a career with the Westvaco Corporation in the New York metropolitan area, where he worked with fine paper products for magazines and catalogs. He later transferred to Boston.

Tom was a loved husband, father, brother and uncle. His family was his greatest joy.

Tom is survived by his wife, Nancy Macauley; his beloved dog, Oliver; his son, Christopher Santillo and his wife, Emily of Melrose, Massachusetts; his son, Jonathan and his wife, Allison of North Easton, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Oren, Isaac, Darla and Wylie, all of whom were the loves of his life; his sister, Patricia Sweeney and Rick Bucannon of Florida; his sister Judith Graham and her husband, Robert of New Jersey and his sister Tina Rinehart and her husband, Paul, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father and mother, Joe and Joyce and his sister, Susan.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held at a later date.
