Obituary

Wayne Joseph MacIver of Kingston passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 76.

Son of the late Edmond and Irene MacIver of Hingham

He is survived by his daughter Cheryl MacIver of Marshfield and granddaughter Kassidy Kurland and wife Micaela of Rhode Island.He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters:,Joyce Foster and the late William Foster of HinghamDeborah Cornacchini and husband Norman of Abington, Bruce MacIver and wife Patricia of Hingham, Thomas MacIver and wife Maria of Hull, the late Warren MacIver and many nieces and nephews

Wayne was a proud marine serving during the Vietnam War from 1965-1969

He worked for General Dynamics at the Quincy Shipyard as a welder for many years until its closing and then went on to being a custodian for the Pembroke Middle School until he retired.

He loved to ride his motorcycle with the South Shore Chapter Jarheads and always helped volunteer serving meals at the Veterans Hospital in Brockton.

Wayne will be sorely missed by family and friends

Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Bartlett Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Thursday January 4, 2024 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at the Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth MA 02360. Burial will be at 1:30pm at The National Cemetery, Connery Ave in Bourne,MA.
