William "Pat" Hardin, 75, died on June 28 at Brookdale Senior Living in Hyannis, MA after a long battle with cancer followed by dementia.

Pat was born in Washington, D.C. and graduated from Cardozo High School in 1969. He served three years in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict and attended Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Prior to moving to Cape Cod in 2018, Pat worked as an electrical engineer and part owner of Process Sensors Inc. located in Milford, MA.

Pat had many interests including science fiction. photography, boating, travel, wine and taking walks with his beloved dog Lola.

Pat is survived by his wife and loving partner of 43 years, Kathleen Mahoney, two stepsons, Michael DeAgazio of Hopkinton and David DeAgazio of Franklin, granddaughter Amelia DeAgazio of Franklin and half brother, Eric Sexton and wife Terrie of Ocean City, Maryland. Pat is predeceased by his mother, Thersea McParland of Co. Antrim, Ireland and his father, Frank D. Hardin of Muckport, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held to honor Pat on Wednesday, July 2 at 3:30 to 6 pm at Bartlett Funeral Home located at 338 Court St., Plymouth MA
