Mashpee, MA - William "Bill" Joyce, age 91, passed away on August 5, 2024. Born in Quincy, MA, he was the eldest of seven children born to William and Lillian (Sheehan) Joyce. Bill was a proud Triple Eagle, having graduated from BC High, Boston College, and Boston College's graduate school. He served in the Army Intelligence Division during the Korean War.

Bill worked as a regional sales manager for BASF Systems and lived in Braintree before retiring to Cape Cod. He and his beloved wife Kathie, who passed away in 2020, cherished their time dining at their favorite restaurants, where they enjoyed building friendships with staff and fellow patrons.

He is the grateful father of daughters Debra LaMonica (James), Kerry Joyce, Nancy Lafauce (Brian), Barbara (Barbie) Joyce, Lori Galotti (Rich), and stepsons Joseph Lannan (Bev) and Larry Lannan. He was predeceased by his children Bill, Kevin, and Kelly Marie.

Bill is also survived by his siblings Jack, Tom, Lillian (Hannigan), Richard, and sisters-in-law Jane and Paula. He was predeceased by his brothers Daniel and Edward. He was a proud papa to his many grandchildren and an encouraging uncle, cheering on every accomplishment and relishing every achievement.

A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Parish in Mashpee on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 11:00 am. If you are called to contribute, please donate, in place of flowers, to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich where he spent his final days.
