Winifred Thatcher, 101, of Plymouth, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on Saturday, April 8, 2023. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Winfred and Nellie (Cleary) Park.

Winnie was married to the late Richard Thatcher. Together they raised a wonderful family; Richard Trevor Thatcher V, of Plymouth, Shirley Frannie Matakanski of Plymouth, and John Cleary Thatcher of FL. She was nana to 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her siblings; Walter Park, Shirley Robitile and Barbara Jameson, preceded her in death.

Winnie was considered everyone's nana. Her greatest joy was children. She always thought of others and put everyone else before herself. She loved everyone being at her house.

Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street. Per Winnie's request, the services will be private. There will be a celebration of her life in the summer to celebrate this wonderful woman.
