Obituary for Louise M McGovern

Louise M McGovern died peacefully in Boston on May 4th, 2015 at the age of 53.


Louise was the widow of James "Fred" McGovern of Halifax, MA. She is survived by her daughter Courtney McGovern of Halifax, MA, and her son Shane McGovern of Halifax, MA. Survived also by her grandchildren Maurice, Tiffany, Shyne, Abigail, and Dace. She was also survived by her sisters Laura and David Ibbitson of Middleboro, MA, Lillian and Richard Harvey of Halifax, MA, and her brothers Bruce Bousquet of California, Ralph and Wanda Bousquet of Marston Mills, MA, and Carl and Dawn Bousquet of Florida.


She was born on December 1st, 1961 in Brockton, MA. She graduated from Whitman/Hanson high school in 1979. She enjoyed taking care of her children, gardening, and watching her grandchildren grow up.


A graveside service is scheduled for May 8th, 2015 at Halifax Cemetery on Helmock Lane, Friday, May 8th at 10:00 am behind the town hall. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Louise McGovern's life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to 48 Plymouth St. Halifax, MA 02338.
