Condolence: Brian and I send our deepest sympathy to the Heenan family. We met Bill at a few family gatherings over the years and we found him to be a very thoughtful, warm and very friendly gentleman with a wonderful sense of humour. Although his life was too short, he has left a lasting memory in the hearts of many people.

Condolence From: David M. Bamford
Condolence: It is with a very heavy heart that i send out my condolences to Linda and family as well as Jack, Tom, Beth and Kathy. For those of you who don't recognize my name, I was married to Bill's cousin in Toronto ( Ann Callanan ). I met Bill in 1979 just months after meeting Ann and I instantly formed a love and respect for Ann's very protective cousin Bill. We became friends over the years and Bill has always been considered an honerary member of the Bamford family. He will be missed by his relatives here in Canada. Rest in Peace " Boston Bill" as we affectionately called him. You will always remain in our hearts.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bill's family, especially Linda and the girls, and his many, many friends. I feel fortunate to have been a close friend with Bill. Right now, countless memories of the times we shared together are running through my mind. It would take pages to even begin to mention them, but starting at St. Raphael's school, we shared so much together. We would routinely check out new movie releases at the Regent and Capitol theaters in Arlington. His family was so gracious when I stayed over his house at Boston Ave, and also the many weekends we spent at the Manomet cottage. His parents were awesome, as well as Jack, Tom, Kathy and Beth, and their families as well. We had a blast when we to his cousin Ann's wedding in Toronto. Bill took me under his wing and introduced me to so many of his friends, and we would party at places like the Hide-Away and George's in Cambridge, as well as the Royal Hawaiian in Woburn. Bill organized my bachelor party, as he was so good at planning parties. We had some memorable overnight stays at the Marriott in Burlington as well. We saw The Who about ten years ago, and many concerts prior to that. I would marvel at how easily Bill could make new friends. Bill knew how to make me laugh, and I have never met anyone funnier. When Bill made an entrance into a room, he would instantly be the center of attention. I think his amazing charisma was trumped only by the size of his heart. He was loyal, and would do anything for family members and friends alike. I know that Bill helped me out of a couple sticky situations back in the day. Bill also got me my first post-paper route job, at a Sub Shop on Boston Ave, but a little mishap on the grill, made that a short-lived culinary career for the two of us. He did get me two other jobs, Hillside Liquors in Medford, and DeFazio's trucking in Somerville. He gave me a lot of advice in life, and I am trying to relive those conversations right now, and be grateful for every moment I shared with Bill. Thank you for everything, Bill. Rest In Peace. Your spirit will live on in all the hearts, minds and souls you touched.
