The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Regan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Jim and I both started at the Buzzards Bay Post Office about the same time. It didn't take long to realize how lucky I was to get to work with him. He was the most clever and quick witted person I've ever known. Tour 3, the afternoon shift, was never boring with Jim. He introduced me to so many things from model rockets and ham radio to how to finish dry wall plus, a string of practical jokes if things got slow! Jim loved to travel, meet people and learn. He freely shared what he had learned, usually with a passion that made something as simple as the correct way to wax a floor interesting. I couldn't sleep when I heard the news of his passing probably because I wish I had a chance to say thank you one more time.
