Obituary for Frederick Arthur Rose

Frederick A. Rose, of Buzzards Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 27, 2015. Born March 26th 1938 in Boston, MA, He was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Perkins) Rose. He served in the Air Force in the late 50s and was employed by Polaroid as a model maker until retirement. Mr. Rose was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and loved spending time with his family. He was always there for those he loved to share advice or to help fix things around the house. Frederick is survived by his beloved wife Joan T. (Kanter) Rose, daughter Jean Pollara and her husband Matthew of Plymouth, sons Kevin Rose and his wife Cora of Taunton, Scott Rose and his wife Christine of Bridgewater, grandchildren Matthew Pollara and wife Daniella, Jaime Pollara, Kristin Pollara, Andrew Rose, Alexis Rose and great grandson Matthew Pollara. He is also survived by his brothers; Charles, Daniel, Kevin, Timothy and his sisters; Charlene Gottlieb, Kathleen Rose, Eileen Walsh, and Colleen Kearns.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 12th from 4-7 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret’s Church in Buzzards’s Bay on Friday, November 13th at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at MA National Cemetery.
