Obituary for Trudy Lane Ward (Gardiner)

Ward, Trudy (Gardiner), died peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on Thursday Novemeber 12, 2015 at the age of 66.
Trudy is survived by her children, daughter Sara Grey and husband Doug Grey of Plymouth and her son Matthew Ward and wife Tara of Old Lyme CT, Sister Susan Gorman and husband William, brothers Terry Gardiner and wife Lorraine, Dale Gardiner and wife Debbie and dear friend Barbara Riedel. She is also survived by nine adoring Grandchildren: Kurtis, Hannah, Samantha and Abigail Grey and Aidan, Kaitlyn, Keara, Ashlynn and Liam Ward. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother Barbara Gardiner and granddaughter Kaleigh Isabelle Ward.
Trudy was born on December 4, 1948 in Brockton Massachusetts to Shirley and Barbara Gardiner. She was raised in Abington and went on to Graduate from Katharine Gibbs. Trudy raised her family in Plymouth and was a dedicated employee at Ocean Spray Cranberries for over 30 years. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, fixing everyone’s computer mishaps and partaking in the latest gourmet creation that was prepared for her! She was adored by all and will be sadly missed.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation is on Monday, November 16th from 4-7pm at Bartlett Funeral Home with a Funeral on Tuesday, November 17th at 11am at First Congregational Church in Plympton. Interment will be private.
