Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emma Cecco can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Emma Cecco

Cecco, Emma, 98, of Plymouth, died peacefully at the Newfield House on Sunday, January 10th, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Annie (Durnion) and William Wield.
She was the wife of the late Louis Cecco, Sr. Emma leaves behind her two children; her son, Louis (Jerry) Cecco, Jr. and his wife Marjorie of Milford, MA and her daughter, Anne Garrity and her companion Alan (Gus) Malaguti. She was the loving grandmother of three grandchildren; Troy Smith and her husband, Steven, of Upton, MA, Mary Kate Cain and her husband, Allen of Stockton, CA and James Garrity and his husband, Mark Schiuefer of Hollywood, CA. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Emma was the co-owner of the Samoset Press with her brother in law, John Casey for many years.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 16th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery.
