Obituary for Kimberly "Kimmy" Mason (Mason)

Mason, Kimberly M, 44, of Middleboro, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016. She was born in Annapolis, MD, the daughter of Edward Mason the late Patricia (Patton) Mason. In late spring of 1978 she moved to Plymouth, MA, with her family, where she lived for twenty seven more years. In November 2005, she moved to Middleboro and lived there for 10 years.
Kimmy “Red” loved taking walks with her dog, “Munchkin,” going to the beach, reading, writing and her New England sports teams. But what was most important to her was family and friends.
Kimmy is survived by her long time boyfriend, James MacMillan. She is also survived by her sisters, Jennifer Mason (and Allen Parsons) and Alicia Mason Armstrong (and her husband, Kyle). She leaves behind her beloved nephews, Tyler and Ethan Armstrong, all of Middleboro. She is also survived by her uncle, James Patton and her aunt, Sue Patton, of MD, and cousin Kerry Hewson of PA. Family isn’t always blood and the list she leaves behind is much too long to write. She will be missed by many.
Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. A celebration of Kimmy’s life will be held at the Moose Lodge, 601 State Road, Plymouth, on Saturday, April 16th at 5:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Kimmy’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701
