Of Dorchester and Mashpee Ma
Died peacefully at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich, MA after a long battle with COPD. She is survived by her 3 children Michael DiMaggio of Mashpee, Gina DiMaggio of Ely, MN, and Angela DiMaggio of Bourne MA. Also survived by siblings Edward Gibbons of Dorchester, Catherine Lopresti of CT and the late James Gibbons and Ann DiMaggio. She had 9 grandchildren and 1 great grand daughter.
Alice was in the restaurant business all of her life, marrying countless couples throughout Cape Cod as function director of the Sons of Italy of Cape Cod for almost 20 years.
Services will be held on Thursday January 5 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church in Mashpee, MA, followed by small gathering at Great Neck Woods Cemetary.
