Obituary for George Kegler

George Francis Kegler, 81, of Cowpens, PA passed away, Tuesday, June 7, 2016. A native of Plymouth, Mass., he was the widower of Shirley Botieri Kegler whom he was married to for 59 years and the son of the late George Fredrick Kegler and Vanda Brevegleri Kegler. He was a Correction Officer, of the catholic faith and proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW and was an avid Patriots fan. He is survived by his children, Deborah Laporte of Cowpens and Kurt Kegler of Mass; sister, Judith Neri of Plymouth, Mass.; and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Amelia and Tristan Bowen.
Visiting hours will be at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court St., Plymouth on August 15th 10-11am, with a memorial service at 11:00.
Interment will be in the Bourne National Cemetery on August 17th, at 11:00am.
