Obituary for Elizabeth Ballo

Ballo, Elizabeth J (Derman), aged 67, passed away May 21, 2010 after a short illness. Liz was born on February 21, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY. She was the daughter of Ray and Catherin Derman.

She was a long-time resident of Plymouth. Liz enjoyed life to the fullest. Her passion was spending time with her family and friends. Liz was an avid gardener and took pleasure traveling with her husband.

Liz was the beloved wife of 47 years to Michael L. Ballo. Adored Mother of Kelly (Ballo) Moss of London, England, Liza (Ballo) Miller and her husband Doug Miller of South Boston and Michael Kristen (Ballo) Aviles and her husband Philip Aviles of Boston. Liz was also survived by three grandchildren, Chatham Moss, Palmer Aviles and Trey Miller.

Funeral arrangements will be by the Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court Street Plymouth. Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 27, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bonaventure's Church, in Plymouth at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 28. Interment will follow at Vine Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.
