Frederick William  Iarrobino
Iarrobino, Frederick W., formerly of Roslindale and Harwich, passed away on June 10 after a lengthy illness. Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Mathieson) and son of the late Frederick and Rose (Fascanello).
Fred is survived by his daughter, Stephanie A. Parker, and her husband, Scott, of Hanover and his son, Scott A. and his wife, Robyn of Middleboro. He was the adored Papa to Brittney, Erin and Caitlin Parker and Drake, Chase and Logan Iarrobino. Loved brother of Margaret Brockney of Wareham and the late Rose Marie Mulcahy and Patricia Buley. Dear brother-in-law of Carole Mathieson and John Iappini of Boston. He was a deeply loved Uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Fred graduated from Roslindale High School and Boston College where he earned a degree in Civil Engineering. He enjoyed a lengthy career as an engineer at the Massachusetts Department of Public Works where he directed Snow & Ice Control activities for the Commonwealth and at the MBTA where he directed Equipment Management. He loved spending time with his family at Grindell’s Park, Dennisport, MA in his younger years and in his retirement, he and his wife moved to Harwich where he enjoyed being an active member of the ROMEO's and served as President of the Standish Woods Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours from 9 am to 10:30 am at Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA 02360 on Saturday, June 23rd, followed by a funeral Mass at 11am at St. Joseph's Church, 272 Main Street Kingston MA, 02364.
