Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeffrey Kucinski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jeffrey “J.J.” Kucinski, 57, lifelong resident of Brockton, died at home surrounded by his loving family on September 3, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer.



He was the devoted husband of Marsha E. (Jennings) Kucinski; loving father of Bruce Norton, Jeffrey F. Kucinski and his fiancé Kristen DelMastro, and Shannon Gallagher and her husband Henry (Chip) Gallagher; loving grandfather of his two beautiful grandchildren, Patrick Gallagher and Molly Kucinski; brother of Richard of Rochester, Helen Thompson of East Bridgewater, and Catherine Hatch of Brockton, as well as the late Georgie, Fabian, Godfrey, Christopher, Frances, and Kevin; and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews including the late Christopher Thompson and Matthew Hatch.



For many years he and his brothers ran K-Bros Farms. He loved gardening, cooking, and doing things for his friends and family. He was also an avid card player and sports fan.


Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington Street, Whitman, from 4-8pm. The funeral will begin at Mackinnon Funeral Home at 8am on Thursday, September 9, 2010, followed by a mass at Christ the King Parish, 42 Wendell Avenue, Brockton, at 9am, with the burial at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
