Obituary for Margery R. Adams (Croft)
Adams, (Croft) Margery R, of Plymouth, 90, died Thursday, September 3, at Life Care Center of Plymouth. Born June 4, 1919 in Plymouth, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry C. Adams.
She was a former employee of Plymouth Cordage Company and Buttners Co. Marge was a dedicated homemaker and avid reader who also enjoyed cooking and music.
A devoted mother of Barbara J. Cobb and husband Michael of Fairplay, CO; Richard S. Adams; Henry C. Adams Jr. and wife Joani; Marcia T. Sykes and husband William H. and James F. Adams all of Plymouth and the late David C. Adams. She was the sister of the late Barbara Bradshaw and Francis Croft. Also survived by seven loving grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at Bartlett & Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court St, Plymouth, MA from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 5.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Chiltonville Congregational Church, 6 River St., Plymouth, MA on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South Street, Plymouth, MA 02360.
