Obituary for Mary Motta (Grace)

Mary C. Motta, age 91, died on March 31, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of the late Alfred Motta.

Born in Providence, R.I. on December 9, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costa) Grace. She was predeceased by her brother George Grace of Florida.

She was educated in Providence R.I. and a graduate of Hope High School. She worked for the Plymouth School System and was retired in 1981. She enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and trips with the senior citizen group. She also enjoyed crocheting.

Mary is survived by her daughter Judith M. Wagner and her husband William E. Wagner of Plymouth, her grandson Mark A. Wagner of Plymouth and granddaughter Heather Parent and her husband John Parent of Gilford, N.H. She is also survived by her three great granddaughters, Mareena Parent, Noelle Wagner and Lucia Parent and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be by Bartlett-Garrity Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth, MA. Calling hours will be on Sunday, April 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be at St Mary’s, Plymouth, on Monday, April 5th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
