Dear Tom,

You always were a brilliant and thoughtful person. Life was cruel to you, but you had the strength to endure for a very very long time. You had a huge impact on my life and you will not be forgotten. It was always great to see you; I only wish it had been more often. I always admired your deep passions and your perspectives. The holidays will not be the same without you. Thinking of you always.

Your godson, nephew, and friend,
Ben
