Obituary for William Richard Traft

Traft, William R., Counselor at Law, Kingston, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 at Golden Living Center at Oak Hill, Middleboro on Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was the son of the late William F. and Winnifred (Dillon) Traft.
William is survived by his wife, Susan Lee Traft, of Kingston, his son, Terry L. Traft, of Boston, his daughter, Tami L. Traft and her husband Michael Garrity of Kingston. He is also survived by his grandchildren Lucas Reale and Isabella Reale of Kingston. He also leaves behind his siblings, Sharon A. Traft of Quincy, James Traft and his wife Patricia of Milton and Allan P. Traft and his wife Anne of Norwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Traft.
Funeral arrangements under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. A funeral mass will be held at St. Brendan’s Parish, 589 Gallivan Boulevard, Dorchester, MA on Friday, March 13th at 11:15 am. A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Sunday April 12th at the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Friends are invited to call on Bill’s family from 1:00-2:30 pm followed by a joyful tribute to this wonderful man who touched the hearts of so many.
In lieu of flowers, put up a bird house in Bill’s honor and feed your feathered friends or make a donation to the Massachusetts Audubon Society in Bill’s name www.massaudubon.org
