Like a wave washing up on the beach, where only after it recedes do we fully appreciate all the treasures it left behind in the sand, you will continue to discover all the treasures your dad left you. They could be forgotten things you find in a drawer. They could be stories from family and friends that you never heard before. But, mostly they will be all those memories that are forever in your heart that will periodically emerge and present you with some "I remember when dad ....." moments that might induce a tear, but also put a huge smile on your face. I hope each day you wake up with a new smile!

Bob McKenna (John's father)
